 The default core is a very popular item due to its weight and the size of its stack. However, it can be a simple way to convert turrets into ARC inputs if your ARC needs are urgent.

 Sentinel Firing Cores are dropped in the following arc raiders rmt locations

 Sentinels (large, stationary turrets) guard key outdoor locations. These cores fall from them. These are typically mounted on rooftops, ledges or other surfaces with a good line of sight. They track the movement of their targets and fire a single, heavy round as long as they keep line-of-sight.

 Tip Use terrain as a barrier to the line-of-sight. Use the lasers to target the weak point, or to reposition.

 Farm the cores safely by fighting the turret

 Establish cover first. The Sentinels are averse to open angles. Create a route that is covered with hardcovers, which will interrupt their view lines.

 Watch out for lasers. When you can see multiple beams merging together, you should change your position or take cover.

 Aim at the yellow capsule. You can reduce the exposure time by consistently hitting the weakpoint.

 Bring the right ammo to your tier. Use medium or heavy rounds to best hit this target.

 Note that Sentinels will not tolerate any mistakes. Every peek is treated like a shield. A few clean weakpoints shots are safer than sustained fire.

 Recycle or salvage? Sell or recycle?

 Three options are available once you have the Sentinel Firing core. This is what each coin yields.

 If you are after raw currency, recycling is superior to selling the core by approximately 680 coin per item. Recycle when the Alloy or Components are needed without having to make another loot trip. Salvage offers a narrower option to players who are only interested in Mechanical Components.

 Fast take-outs to save time

 Target Sentinels at rooftops and ledges. They will help you farm cores.

 Use the convergence laser as your cue for a quick duck-out or to peek again from a different perspective.

 Prioritize the weakpoint, and bring heavy or medium rounds to minimize time exposed.

 Sell the cores for maximum efficiency. Recycle when you require Alloys or Components in your workshop.

 The Sentinel Firing Core resides at an intersection where money and material are both useful. If coins are your bottleneck then sell them. If crafting holds you back, take it apart. If you can tell when the turret is going to drop, then you will be able to make steady progress.
